ChatGPT, the platform that uses artificial intelligence, went down worldwide on Thursday, December 27, for several hours, as well as Sora, a video creation software, and API, a user assistance tool. Many users have reported that they do not have access to them, writes Digi24.

The application’s network went down at 20:30 in the evening, Romanian time, and lasted for several hours. During the outage, ChatGPT would not respond to user queries or would not load at all.
“ChatGPT is down so now I’ll have to use my brain like in the 70s“, wrote a user on platformX.
“ChatGPT, API and Sora have been down for a few hours and we’re sorry for the trouble this has caused. I identified the problem and started the recovery. We hope to be back as soon as possible”, wrote on X OpenAI
On Friday, OpenAI, the company that owns the ChatGPT platform, said it was still working to fix the situation.
ChatGPT was created in 2022 by the OpenAI company, specialized in artificial intelligence.
ChatGPT o1, the latest model implemented, is starting to raise fears among users due to its ability to have its own consciousness.
Recent tests have shown that the AI model tries to deceive researchers, avoid shutdowns and even copy itself to prevent replacement.
