President Marcel Ciolacu, who is celebrating the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the Moldova area, revealed that he had by his side, on the day of the feast, the presidents newly elected by the County Councils.

“The Orthodox Church is also a spiritual pillar, but it is also a pillar of our national identity. I came together with the presidents of the newly elected County Councils because they are also at the beginning of the journey“, declared Marcel Ciolacu, on Thursday, at the end of the religious service for the Dormition of the Mother of God.
He says that his presence in the area of Moldova during this period “it has nothing to do with the candidacy”.
He confessed that during the religious service he thought about his parents.
“Now I was talking to Mother Abbess and I was telling her: the whole service I thought about my parents, who were called to the Lord”the prime minister added.
Marcel Ciolacu stated that he leaves the job with a “sense of fulfillment” from the job.
