Asked by reporters if the doctor Cătălin Cîrstoiu has a chance at the Capital City Hall, the head of the PNL stated: “Supported by the two parties yes, alone no“. When the reporters mentioned the fact that the doctor would not enjoy much notoriety, the liberal leader argued that the potential candidate is known in Bucharest. “Doctor Cîrstoiu has a certain degree of notoriety and everyone has heard of the University Hospital.
The PNL leader pointed out that he is confident in the joint team. “Now, you know how it is, we are in the pre-campaign period. Everyone hopes to have traction with the electorate. We are putting all our capacity so that the team we will announce will be the one that will convince the people of Bucharest that it deserves to be voted for”, Nicolae Ciucă pointed out.
The President of the PNL mentioned that “the common project for Bucharest also implies a coherence between the General City Hall of the Municipality of Bucharest and the sector city halls”.
“As such, in order to be able to end this rift between the general mayor, between the sector mayor and the Local Council from the municipality or from the sector, we need all these lists to have the support of both parties”, concluded Ciucă.
