Claudiu Tibdiu, former co -founder of gold and president of the National Council of the Formation, launched on Saturday, June 21, 2025, a new political party: the conservative action (act). The new formation aims to become a political force with conservative, Christian and sovereign identity, according to an official statement.

Act comes with an agenda focused on reindustrialization, energy autonomy, economic protectionism and the repatriation of the diaspora. According to its leaders, the formation is positioned as an alternative to the current political system and promises a deep reform.

We do not enter a political ballet, we do not accommodate the system, we start the conservative revolution. We are here not to adapt to the times, but to face them. Not to mimic change, but to produce the deep reform that Romania needs“, Said Claudiu Târziu, as chairman of the National Initiative Committee and the founding leader of the party.

Gold separation and rear motivation

The launch of ACT takes place just two months after the late gold resignation, a formation in which he worked for six years. The main reason for the departure was, according to his own statements, the personalized direction that the party took under the leadership of George Simion.

I have the feeling that I am driven out of my own house … but at least I save the inheritance“, Claudiu wrote late at the time of gold separation.

A team with conservative roots

Robert Alecu, Antonio Andrușceac, Șerban Dimitrie Sturdza, Adela-Ioana Târziu-Grăjdeanu and other well-known leaders for their conservative visions.

Elections, program and long -term goals

ACT announced its intention to participate in all the election rounds of 2025. The party also promises a political program with long-term vision, until 2050. Until the organization of the first national congress, the act will work with a provisional leadership.

The new formation argues that it is not “A simple civic initiative”, But a political platform meant to change from the foundations the direction in which Romania is heading.
