The Mayor of Sector 1, Clotilde Armand, announced that she is being charged in her incompatibility case, until recently she was a suspect. Moreover, she is expected to be sent to court until the local elections on June 9.

“Let me give you another example about the reaction of the PNL PSD system to the announcement of my candidacy. You probably know, I am accused by the former PSD mayor (Diamante) that I was illegally remunerated with 2,500 euros in a European project in which I implemented anti-corruption measures at the City Hall of Sector 1. The USR representative also points out that she expects to be sent to court until the local elections. “They are getting ready to quickly finish the indictment and send me to trial by June 9th. People can no longer be lied to with such media montages“, added Clotilde Armand.
The National Integrity Agency accuses Armand of appointing herself manager in an anti-corruption project financed by European funds, as a result of which she would have earned almost 19,000 lei. ANI notified the prosecutor's office.
