The patient, a 69 -year -old man, residing in Bucharest, is in a stable condition and follows a specific drug treatment. According to the information, he did not recently travel abroad.

Since the beginning of the year, 21 cases of malaria have been reported in Romania, all with travel history in endemic malaria countries ”, transmits the Ministry of Health.

Although the climatic crisis has multiple facets, from the point of view of the WHO, this is essentially a sanitary crisis.
