Strategies were calculated, aces were hidden up their sleeves, all for an unparalleled musical battle, presented by Adrian Despot. DJ ZDA will set the tone for the music.

“The challenges are primarily musical, to adapt our songs to other musical styles, but without canceling their personality, so that they no longer sound like Șuie Paparude. This is the balance we sought to imprint in every piece we redid, with influences from various styles. To sound in that style, but to sound clearly like Ïuie Paparude. It was the most fun part and we can't wait for you to hear what we worked on. We set out on the road with the idea that the music would win this confrontation. The fact that we do what we love, first of all, we hope it shows on stage. This will be our main weapon“, declare the members of Suie Paparude.
“I like these challenges. For the live show, we have a team of 10 people on stage. It's definitely a challenge, a beautiful one for me and not at all uncomfortable. I, myself, am a weapon: my versatility, the way I see music. I'm gonna break everything, cause I'm gonna come with my boy Biggie,” says Connect-R.
After 5 unique editions that raised the bar to the stars, the 6th edition can't be anything other than memorable, considering the protagonists from such different areas. All of Romania knows Connect-R since his career debuts, a chameleon artist in the true sense of the word, with dozens of tracks and collaborations in heavy rotation. On the other hand, Șuie Paparude has been a strong name in the Romanian music industry for more than 30 years, with a sound recognizable and adored by all generations.
Red Bull SoundClash rounds
ROUND 1: THE COVER – The artists take turns performing the same international hit in their own style.
ROUND 2: THE TAKEOVER – Connect-R starts a song from his personal repertoire, and Șuie Paparude picks it up halfway through and sings it in his own style. Then the roles are reversed, for 4 plays.
ROUND 3: THE CLASH – Artists perform 3 of their own songs in 3 different musical styles.
ROUND 4: THE WILDCARD – The most anticipated test of the duel, where each combatant pulls an ace up his sleeve, that is, throws a surprise guest on stage, which can completely change the dynamics of the final result.

Access rules
The minimum age to participate in the event is 18 years. Access to the Red Bull SoundClash 2024 event will be from 18:00 and the show will start at 19:00. To avoid crowding, the organizers urge all participants to arrive at the event as early as possible and to access Gate A or Gate B, from the Romexpo space. Access will be allowed exclusively on the basis of the event ticket, assigned to a single person, and a valid ID. To prevent certain unpleasant situations, the organizers recommend that each person keep the validated ticket for the entire duration of the event. The ticket cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed and is valid for one entry only. The validated ticket cannot be transferred to another person or resold. Reproduction of tickets is illegal.
About Red Bull SoundClash
In 2017, at the first Red Bull SoundClash in Romania, CTC beat Carla's Dreams in a sold-out show. In 2018, Grasu XXL won a bloody match against Loredana. In 2019, Vița de Vie drew a stunning draw with Subcarpathia, an absolute first in the history of the global event. In 2022, Irina Rimes and Spike went viral with their electrifying moments, and Spike won by a whisker. At the last edition in Romania, in 2023, the band Vama and Killa Fonic had an intense musical confrontation, which resulted in an incredible score of 397.6 vs. 397.5 for Customs.
For 18 years, Red Bull SoundClash has been bringing fans artistic duels with enormous emotional stakes. The first edition took place in the Netherlands, and since then it has gone around the world on five continents, in over 100 duels.
