Craiova University was imposed on Sunday evening in a spectacular duel against Farul Constanța, final score 2-0, in stage 9 of the Romanian Superliga.

Mirel Rădoi’s group retains its leading position in the internal standings, with 23 points obtained so far. The white-blue reached a four-point advance compared to Rapid, occupying 2nd place.
On the other side, Constanța Lighthouse is in 8th place, with 13 points.
The Oltenians started in force and controlled the match from the first minutes. The first big opportunity came in the 3rd minute, and in the 22nd minute they opened the scoring. Al Hamlawi found it perfectly on Nsimba, who looked at Buzbuchi and sent the ball to the long corner.

The lighthouse also had the chance to equal after the break, but the goal came to the gate of the Constans. Unfortunately for them, Victor Dican deviated the ball in his own gate in an attempt to reject the center of Nicușor Bancu.
Mirel Rădoi’s team continued to dominate and could score in the 87th minute, through Mihnea Rădulescu’s strong shot, but Buzbuchi managed to reject spectacularly.
As a result of this victory, Craiova University remains a 23 -point leader, 4 lengths over Rapid.
Next weekend, the Oltenians will play away with Steel Galați, and the Lighthouse will go on Dinamo’s field.
