Human trafficking and rape, two of the crimes for which he is on trial
The Tate brothers are charged with several crimes in Romania: forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking in a continuous form, rape in a continuous form (two material acts), illegal access to a computer system, altering the integrity of computer data, hitting or other violence and incitement to this crime.
According to DIICOT, the crime of human trafficking would have been committed both on the territory of Romania, but also in the United States of America and Great Britain.
The investigators say that the Tate brothers recruited young women under the pretext of starting a love relationship, after which they took them to a house in Ilfov county, where they were forced to produce video clips, which were posted on websites for adults.

The Bucharest Court decided on July 5 to maintain the preventive measure of judicial control in the case of the Tate brothers, but they can leave the country, the magistrates lifting the restrictions on their travels within the European Union in the trial in which he is being tried, along with his brother and two accomplices ( Alexandra-Luana Radu and Georgiana Manuela Naghel) for the establishment of an organized criminal group, with the aim of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create materials with pornographic content, intended for distribution for a fee on profile websites.
“I’m free. For the first time in three years I can leave Romania. The mock case is falling apart,” wrote Andrew Tate in a post on the X platform, where he also shared a link to his website The Real World.
