Cornel Dinu's reaction when he saw that Borcea had piles of money in the library as books

Cristi Borcea, former head of Dinamo, told Fanatik two episodes, in which Cornel Dinu and Cornel Țălnar saw that he kept piles of money in the library instead of books.

“I was with Țalnar all day and I also had a few meals when he was president of FC Național. In '94 I went to become a referee. Ţalnar said this to nea Cornel. He saw me with Dinamo and said like this: 'There's no way. This wreaks havoc'. I, being a ready money boyI had nothing to do with the money.

Tălnar once came to me in '91. Instead of a library, I had money. When he opened it and saw that the library was full of money, he ran out of the house. Instead of books it was full of money. He ran out of the house, he thought I broke the bank. There were stacks of 100 lei”, Cristi Borcea told.

Cornel Dinu took him for swearing

The former manager of Dinamo continued his funny story: “That's what I did to Cornel in '98. I moved to Pantelimon. He came with a painting as a gift. He sits down, lights his cigar and says: 'Where's the library'? I showed him: 'Look Cornel, here is the library'. I had no book, you see. He took me for swearing.

When I came to Dinamo, seeing that I was so crazy and having money, they made me marketing director, in January '95. In the first meeting, they said: 'We make a society, we give, we take the taxes'. And finally I did. I helped financially and easily, easily…”Cristi Borcea told Fanatik.

The two had a close relationship, and the former financier is saddened that Dinu is now going through delicate moments. “I was staying next to Cornel, from 1995 to 2000, I think, at least 15-16 hours a day. I would drop him off at home and pick him up. Now this is my biggest pain. I do not know what to do. I talk to him, but he doesn't leave the house. I also want to go to a restaurant, but he doesn't socialize.”
