Craiova University and FCSB have officially parted ways with three people. The giants of the Super League did not bring anything in their place

The football team Universitatea Craiova, 1st place in the Super League after 21 stages, announced, on the last day of 2025, the parting with the Cuban Luis Paradela, whose loan has expired.

The football club Universitatea Craiova announced, on Wednesday, the parting with the Cuban Luis Paradela (28 years old), whose loan from the Costa Rican group Saprissa expired on December 31, 2025.

Thank you, Luis Paradela! The loan period of the Cuban footballer Luis Paradela has come to an end. We thank him and wish him success in his career!“, it says on the Facebook page of the white-blue club.

Paradela was loaned to Craiova University starting July 1, 2024. He was seriously injured in December 2024, in a match with Gloria Buzău, and was absent until the fall of 2025.

In total, the left winger featured for the University in 24 games in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.

At the end of this year, the University of Craiova also parted ways with Toni Petrea, who was second to the Portuguese Filipe Coelho (45 years old). The break between the former “principal” of FCSB and Olteni was officially confirmed today.

Although the team meetings are scheduled for the first days of January, the Universitatea Craiova, CFR Cluj, Rapid, Dinamo and FCSB teams, important teams fighting for the title (with the exception of Transylvania, who no longer believe they can catch the play-off) did not bring any new names to the team after the end of the season.

Although it is in negotiations with Kevin Ciubotariu and there is discussion about the repatriation of Florinel Coman, the FCSB champion, currently out of the play-off, has, for now, no news in the team. However, Malcom Edjouma left, who was offered a contract extension after the performance in the match with Fenerbahce, but he refused it. The Frenchman said goodbye to the team today in a message on Instagram.
