The former president of the PNL, Crin Antonescu, considers the recent attacks between the PNL and the PSD “a classic piece of theater” and says that “the PNL wants to maximize its electorate by fighting against the PSD”, and “the PSD is giving us the same card”.

The statements were made on Sunday evening, at Antena 3 CNN.
“We see an increasingly blunt polemic, you say they can no longer live in the same country, of some people who have governed in recent years and at this moment and if you ask them if they are still together they say «no, we’re doing an analysis». (…) Very likely they will rule even after this real or fake war”declared Crin Antonescu.
The former PNL president also added that “it’s a classical play”.
“The time has come when PNL wants to maximize its electorate by fighting PSD. I think the fight cry against the red plague will also be heard”Antonescu also affirmed.
The former liberal leader said, however, that he does not question the authenticity of the discontent from the PNL or PSD:
“There are many who would really not want to be together, but obviously this parody is also very profitable“.

Crin Antonescu also came up with a solution:
“If PNL no longer wants PSDto quickly make a move, to change the management (…). Rareș, Luci Bode can’t come to tell me that I can no longer work with PSD“.

The former president of PNL criticized the party’s presidential campaign, centered on Nicolae Ciucă’s book, suggesting that another successful candidate can be found.
