Cristian Tudor Popescu explained in a post on his Facebook page why he was absent from the presidential dinner on Monday, May 26, 2025, offered by Nicușor Dan. At the same time, the newspaper also has a dilemma in the context of the warnings transmitted by the BNR governor, Mugur Isarescu.

“To be received! I did not respond to the invitation from President Dan to participate in the reception in Cotroceni occasioned by the inauguration of his mandate, because I do not go to the worlds, I have not been for decades. Which does not mean that I do not thank and congratulate Mr. Nicușor Dan for the victory, and I did not get to the victory. On the contrary ”, wrote CTP, on fb.
The newspaper says he has seen the entrances and meals loaded from the presidential dinner and asks if a period when the strap is recommended can start with a feast.
