Petrescu was eliminated in min. 89 of the match with Unirea Slobozia (1-1), from Clinceni, from the 20th stage of the Superliga, for the second yellow card, both awarded by referee Ionuţ Coza (Cernica) for protests.

Defender Paul Papp, eliminated at the end of the match with Cluj University (90+3), from the 20th stage of the Superliga, received a one-match suspension and was fined 740 lei.
