The singer of manele Dani Mocanu escaped the charges of pimping, money laundering and constitution of organized criminal group, as a result of the application of the Constitutional Court’s decision. The decision was issued on August 7 by the Ploiești Court of Appeal, according to portaljust.ro.

The singer escapes such prison using the prescription granted by a CCR decision
The decision issued on August 7 by the Ploiești Court of Appeal puts an end to a process followed by the press and public.

In the first instance, the manelist was sentenced to six years and five months in prison with the execution of the magistrates of the Dâmbovița Tribunal. In January, Dani Mocanu had also escaped the accusation of organized criminal group. Following the decision pronounced on August 7, it also escapes that of pimping.

In March, Dani Mocanu and his brother were sentenced to prison for attempted murder. The decision, however, is not final.
