Daniel Funeriu, former Minister of Education and an independent candidate for the presidential elections, launched a series of harsh criticisms against the political parties in Romania, claiming that they “killed hope” and marginalized “many remarkable people”, which led to an “weaker human resource”. However, he rejected the idea of abolishing the parties, considering it an “aberration”, and stressed that it is the time for the reconstruction of the country on the “field of hopes”.

“The cancellation ELECTION Presidential is a democratic cataclysm that has swept all the connections of the worthy people in Romania with the political parties. It is time to rebuild on the field of hopes, left empty by the classic parties in Romania. My Romania is not Romania in which the international Olympians are supported by the Corigents of Governance ”said Funeriu, emphasizing the deep dissatisfaction with the current state of the country.

The former minister did not hesitate to openly criticize the main political formations, accusing them of repeated failures in front of those who hoped for a real change. “The parties in Romania killed hope. PSD killed the hope of the revolution and for this he will never be forgiven by my generation. The PDL killed the hope of state reform, and for this he will never be forgiven by the little younger than me, who have put their hope in them. PNL killed the hope of a meritocratic right, through the eternal cohabitation with PSD. The PMP killed the hope of those who believed in the political inheritance of President Basescu. USR killed the hope of young people with energy. Instead of consistent action they failed in internal churches and doctrinal irrelevance“, Said Daniel Funeriu, in his post on Facebook.

Funeriu continued to emphasize the existence of “remarkable people” in these parties, who were marginalized and eliminated from the decision-making circles, resulting in a “poor human resource” and in the loss of positive energies essential for the future of the country. “In the parties I know well, without necessarily being a member, PDL, PNL, PMP, USR, there were many remarkable people. Which, always, an invisible evil hand marginalized, the result being, finally, a weaker human resource. Huge of many positive positive energies, which Romania has and will need”He pointed out.

Expressing his concern about the lack of direction of the country and the political class, Funeriu stressed that it is necessary to rebuild Romania, “on the field of hopes”, and invited all those who are not in the “clique of hope” to join his approach: “My Romania is not Romania in which 20 million Romanians push the wagons of several politicians who consume champagne and caviar in luxury compartments. I wait for all those who have done politics or not – do not find themselves in the click of hope that today have the bread and knife of politics in Romania. Everyone for whom I understand that it is time to build our country as they dreamed, and those of the generation of whose criminal communism took the chance to happiness, and the “decrees” who raised the first free young people of Romania, and Today’s young people who feel adults have arrived in a compass-free country. Let’s regain our country, I say! ”

In conclusion, Daniel Funeriu emphasized the importance of strengthening the political parties in Romania, but said that this can only be done with the help of “worthy” people, and this process will not be possible without a president capable of motivating them. “The parties must be reinforced, and the only means of strengthening the parties is for them to be populated with worthy people, which, without a president who knows how to make them do so, will never do it ”concluded the independent candidate.
