After almost a year of work together on the tennis court, the Russian player Daniil Medvedev ends his collaboration with his coach, the Frenchman Gilles Simon, unhappy how things went.

A year without a week the partnership between Medvedev and Simon lasted. The break was announced by the 28 -year -old player.

The news was given during the ATP 500 tournament from Rotterdam, where Medvedev evolves these days. The Russian justified its decision by lack of results.

“Gilles and I decided not to work together. It was a very good experience, with many positive aspects. From now on, Cervara (No. – his coach always) and we will continue. It did not go as we wished, especially as results. No title came, I have not won Great Slam tournaments, but I learned a lot of new things about tennis, which I am sure they will help me in the future“Said Medvedev, trying to make the separation pleasant.
