Decision that will affect all iPhone users in Europe. What happens to Apple’s smartphones

Apple could also start selling in Europe iPhones that work exclusively with electrons, three years after doing the same in the United States.

Starting with the iPhone 14, Apple smartphones sold in the United States have given up the physical card slot and worked only with ESIM.

The same thing could happen this year in Europe. The new iPhone 17 series could only use ESIM and would give up the physical card holder, writes News.

According to sources within the company, Apple has started courses for the employees of the authorized resellers, through which they are ready to work with ESIMs.

These courses, which will end on September 5, seem to suggest that the iPhone 17 will only be sold in the European Union with ESIM support.

This will force the users who have not made it so far to pass from the physical to the electronic SIM.

In Romania, Orange, Digi and Vodafone have been supporting support for ESIM for several years.

The new iPhone 17 series is to be presented on September 9, and this will be part of the iPhone 17 Air, an ultra -ubstate smartphone, for which the lack of a SIM slot has more sense than for the other models.
