Did you get tired of the commercials that flow permanently on the Samsung phone? How can you disable them

Of all the big smartphone manufacturers, Samsung has some of the most expensive phones you can buy at the moment.

The new Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the tip of the state-of-the-art smartphones and is sold at an exorbitant price of $ 2,000. Imagine how you feel when you unpack your elegant and premium phone and start it for the first time, just to be bombed with ads.

It is impossible to imagine a company like Apple by submitting iPhone users to such experience, but intrusive advertisements and bloatware are long-term humiliations by Galaxy customers using Samsung phones for all budgets, writes Slashgear.

From the moment you finish the Samsung phone configuration, the commercials begin. Open the app menu and you will find a lot of social media applications, mobile games, news applications and more – none of them being requested by you.

That would be quite frustrating, but Samsung often fills the notification panel and the Galaxy Store applications lock screen, introduces marketing banners in many its own applications and fills every corner of its software with advertisements.

Fortunately, you can remove almost all Samsung commercials in less than five minutes if you know where to look. Once you have eliminated all unwanted applications that slow down the phone, you can remove most of the others by deactivating a few settings. Samsung should give up commercials, especially on its top premium phones. In the meantime, here’s how you can disable them yourself.

Many advertisements on Samsung phones can be removed by uninstalling the block

The first thing you should do on a new Samsung Galaxy Galaxy phone is to delete unwanted blocks that are pre-installed. Open the app menu sliding up from the middle of the start screen.

Press on one of the Bloatware applications, then touch Select from the pop-up menu. A tick will appear on the application icon. Continue selecting the rest of the Bloatware applications by touching them. Once you have selected them all, tap the uninstall button at the top of the screen. You will need to confirm the deletion for each application by reaching OK at the bottom of the screen. Some of Samsung’s own applications can be an advertising spam source, especially Samsung Global Goals, Samsung Shop, Samsung Free and Samsung TV Plus.

After eliminating Bloatware applications, you will need to enter the settings to eliminate more of Samsung’s marketing fish. Samsung has grouped much of his adware in a single settings switch that you can disable with just a few touches. Go to the Samsung Account section of the Settings Application, Tap Security and Privacy, then disable
“Receive special news and offers”as well as “improve personalized advertisements with Samsung account data.”

Also, go to the Personalization Service section on the Security and Privacy Page and turn it off. Although Samsung uses this option to provide some personalized experiences in some applications, it is mainly a data collection tool and marketing that most people would be better to lack.

Following the above tips, you should remove most of the advertisements on the Samsung Galaxy, but you can eliminate others by changing some additional settings. Start by accessing the Galaxy Store app – the Redundant Clone of Google Play Store from Samsung – where more ads are hidden.

Tap the menu to the bottom right, then tap the wheel icon on the top right. Tap customization service, then turn off the switch on the top right. Samsung Health will also display marketing materials until you access the Settings page and deactivate the customization service and marketing notifications. Samsung has too many applications to go into details about each of them, but check if there are similar names.

If you persist marketing notifications from applications you need to install on the device, pull down from the top of the screen to open the notification panel and hold on to the notification that bothers you.

After a moment, a toothed wheel -shaped icon will appear.

Tap it, then move on the categories of notifications on the next screen. Here you will see all the types of notifications that the application can send, and one of them will blink short. Disable the appropriate switch. After a while, you should not see ads at all.

Samsung’s endless promotional content diminishes the pleasure of using a Galaxy phone, but after following these tips, you should have a much less annoying experience.
