The in situ localization and measurements necessary for the on-site signage of the objectives in Attractive Romania were carried out. They are located on an area of approximately 55,000 km2 of which 4,950 km2 they will have a very intense signaling rate.

More precisely, a lens will cover approximately 200 km2 signal, respectively every 18 km2
there will be an average of 20 signaling points. The estimated requirement is 5,759 hours for the location of over 8,000 infrastructure elements. The means of signaling will comply with the standards applicable to road signaling (galvanized steel or aluminum sheet 1 mm thick, anti-corrosion treated, painted in an electrostatic field, with application of class 3 reflective film), and the guarantee given to the means of signaling will be at least 7 years .

Multimedia platform – website and mobile travel application, Attractive Romania

Through the Romania Attractiva multimedia platform, the information reaches the user online through the website www.romania-attractiva.ro and through the travel mobile application, available free of charge for both iOS and Android smartphones (can be downloaded from here: https://romaniaatractiva.app.link/download).

For the program, a digital library was developed for the first time, available in several languages of international circulation, in which the history of each cultural objective is presented.

Unique in its comprehensive typology of video content, photos, virtual tours, 3D reconstructions, animations, audio guides, presentation texts, user reviews, the platform aims to provide information about the themes of existing routes and the objectives included in these routes. Thus, it brings the future tourist as close as possible to the experiences he can discover offline and helps him in choosing travel destinations. The 275 tourist attractions are introduced in the platform, and their presentation materials have been translated into English, French, Romanian and some of them into German and Hungarian. Cumulatively, more than 5,800 materials were produced, to which are added 98 revitalization plans that will help some objectives to attract public interest and find sources of self-financing.

The Romania Attractiva platform allows and encourages the addition of new information, either related to other tourist attractions on the routes, or related to thematic events that are organized in the country and which can now be accessed centrally by lovers of cultural and historical tourism.

The travel mobile app, available for free for iOS and Android, makes accessing this content easier. Access can be done anonymously or with a user account that allows you to customize the content according to your preferences and post reviews of the objectives. Through the geolocation system, the user is also shown the objectives in the vicinity. The mobile app can be used offline and saved content can be viewed even when the phone has no signal.

Both the development and maintenance of the application are carried out by Eventya, a company part of the Terra Building Association – Eventya, the winning consortium of the tender related to the implementation of the project.
