The new presidential adviser on the relationship with the business environment, Dragoş Anastasiu, posted on Facebook on Friday a message stating that his statement about the opportunity to publish on the Internet of wealth statements was a personal opinion and that it has nothing to do with the decision taken shortly by the RCC on this subject.
“During a show at First News, I expressed a personal opinion on the opportunity to publish on the Internet of wealth statements, stating that” we should get rid of this practice “. I said then reaffirm now: I fully support the statements of wealth to authorized institutions, such as the National Integrity Agency.” Anastasiu wrote on Facebook.
He wanted to point out that the RCC decision came “in a completely random” just days after his statements.
“In fact, a few days after that show, the Constitutional Court of Romania issued a decision establishing that:
• wealth statements no longer need to be published on the ANI website;
• It is no longer mandatory to mention the revenue of the spouse and the children.
Some publications have suggested a connection between the two moments. I would like to point out that I did not even be aware of the existence of this case before the RCC and, in addition, my statements were not made on behalf of the Presidential Administration, but exclusively in their own name and from the concern of the most competent professionals in the public administration ”, he explained on Friday.

In just a few hours after posting this message, over 200 people have left comments, most of them extremely harsh to the new presidential counselor, whom some have already urged to resign.
The reactions so vehements prove, once again, the fact that Romanians have lost their confidence in those who govern them, but also in the state institutions.
