Dumitru Silvestu-Şoșoacă accuses his wife, Diana Șoșoacă, in a press release quoted by Digi24 of abusive abusive actions “against party members and leaders”.

Diana Șoșoacă's husband also claimed that such a decision is incomprehensible, given that the SOS Romania project was his idea and he is the main organizer of the party.
“However, its abusive actions against party members and leaders cannot be accepted. The reasons invoked by Mrs. SOS President, that I would be the victim of acts of intimidation and blackmail by the secret services, with the aim of destroying her political career, are not real. I do not agree with the use of me and my family for Ms. Iovanovici-Sosoacă to victimize herself for electoral purposes. We have a huge responsibility towards the Romanian people and we cannot let them down”.

Senator Diana Şoşoacă declared in a meeting of the SOS formation that she decided to suspend her husband, Silvestru Şoşoacă, from the position of first vice-president.
“In order to be able to save my family I had to make the cruelest decision. In order to be able to save a man's soul and his life, to get him out of the clutches of the services that surrounded him, I had to suspend him from the position of first vice-president, so that his signature no longer means anything, and at that moment, he no longer means anything to those who surrounded him“, explained Diana Sosoacă.
The senator also claimed that she was threatened, being offered the position of president of the country for which she would have the best chances.
“It was proposed to me, in fact I was blackmailed, threatened, that I would have to obey some rules and I also asked, obviously, why I am so interesting. You have the highest percentages and the best chance to become the president of Romania, he says, but it can't be the way you want it to be. We will give you money for the campaign, we will finance everything, but you will have to listen to everything you are told and you will have to stop doing what you have been doing until now.
