Elena Lasconi’s daughter joined the Romanian Socialist Party

Oana Lasconi, the daughter of the former USR President Elena Lasconi, returned to Romania and publicly announced her affiliation with the Romanian Socialist Party, a formation that recommends itself as a continuation of the Romanian Communist Party.

Oana, Elena Lasconi’s daughter, surprised the political scene with a radical change in her orientation. The 32-year-old, who until recently lived in Paris and campaigned for the rights of the LGBTQ community, clearly expressed her sympathy for the communists, even participating in France in marches organized by nostalgics of the Soviet Union.

Upon returning to Romania, Oana Lasconi made public her affiliation with the Romanian Socialist Party (PSR), posting her membership card on a social network.

We remind you that the PSR recommends itself as the continuation of the Romanian Communist Party, its president is Constantin Rotaru, and the party’s logo is the former coat of arms of the defunct PCR.

Over the last few months, Oana Lasconi posted several public messages expressing her political affinities towards communism and Bolshevism.

“108 years ago, Bolshevik heroes destroyed the Tsarist regime and brought power into the hands of the Soviets, improving the lives of millions by providing equal rights, shelter, food and education.

Champions of the people, they gave women autonomy over their own bodies and the right to vote. They almost eradicated illiteracy, built a world superpower, sent man into space and DESTROYED (sic!, no) fascism in Europea.

Long live the Bolsheviks and may the October Revolution inspire a new chapter for humanity”is one of the messages posted on social networks by the daughter of the former candidate for the Presidency of Romania.

The situation is all the more interesting as Elena Lasconi, USR deputy and Oana’s mother, is a party colleague of Cristian Ghinea, the initiator of a bill that officially condemns communism in Romania.
