Elena Udrea is demanding her rights to her confiscated assets, worth approximately five million lei. According to her, he stayed “about the only one illegally convicted.”

“I have already started actions by which I demand the restoration of legality as far as I am concerned. That is, the retrial this time according to the law of the cases. Cases in which I was wrongfully convicted.
With the consequence of recovering everything that was wrongfully taken from me. I was the only one who was illegally convicted. The only case in which, so far, the reopening of the case has not been accepted. And the retrial according to the law”said Elena Udrea exclusively for Cancan.
After three years spent behind bars, out of the six received in the “Gala Bute” file, and a series of proceedings in court, Elena Udrea left Târgușor penitentiary on July 17.
Elena Udrea was accused of having coordinated a system through which people close to her received money from companies, in exchange for guaranteeing timely payments for works financed by the Ministry of Tourism.
Prosecutors say that part of the money would have gone directly to Udrea, the PDL Bucharest organization or Rudel Obreja. Also, Udrea would have caused officials of the ministry to break the law in the purchase of advertising services for the gala in which Lucian Bute boxed. The calculated damage is approximately 3 million euros.
He is getting ready to go on vacation for the holidays

“I’m fasting, obviously. I mean I’ve had it for years. We are getting ready for the holidays. Plus my birthday. Some will be traditional. And we will spend part of them in the sun. I haven’t been on a sun and sea holiday for four years.
During this period, I eat vegetables, fruits, cereals, soy, salads, potatoes, beans, cream soups. And bread, but with Maia. On Friday they observe Black Lent. I mean I only drink water. Spiritually, I pray three times a day. I do good deeds, we read the Bible daily or I tell Eve from the Bible at night on the way to and from school.
I’m careful not to get angry in traffic. But also to stop having critical thoughts about others, etc. Some are better for me. Others don’t. Like the traffic problem. It’s hard not to get angry with the traffic between Corbeanca and Băneasa. Or with the traffic from Bucharest. I was doing 30-35 minutes on the Corbeanca-Băneasa route. Due to the works on the subway, since Monday, they have closed one more lane at the Gendarmerie. And I do 50-60 minutes”, she also said.
