European specialists in floods and natural disasters arrive in Romania on Wednesday, at the request of the PSD MEP Victor Negrescu. Their purpose is to support interventions in the case of Praid saline, affected by major problems.

The PSD MEP Victor Negrescu has announced that European specialists will arrive in Romania to provide technical assistance and expertise in managing the situation at Salina Praid. This endeavor comes from an official call he addressed to the European Commission.
“Good news for Romania. Following the official appeal I made to the European Commission, European specialists in floods and natural disasters reach Romania today to provide support in the Praid saline“, Victor Negrescu said on Facebook.
The situation is serious and requires fast actions
Negrescu warns that the situation at Salina Praid is a serious one, and the rapid intervention is essential for protecting the communities in the area and for starting the reconstruction.
“The situation is serious. We need all the available expertise to save what can be saved, to protect the affected communities and to prepare the reconstruction of Praid saline. We don’t stop here“, Added the MEP.
Collaboration with the Romanian authorities
Negrescu stressed that the Romanian authorities continued his approach and that there was a good collaboration with the Minister of Economy, Bogdan Ivan.
