FCSB won an important victory, 1-0, in front of Craiova University, within the derby of the 12th stage of the Romanian Superliga. The only goal of the match was scored by Florin Tanase from the penalty, and the same player missed a shot from the point with lime in the last 15 minutes of the match.

The first notable opportunity came immediately after the start whistle, when Etim intercepted the ball and was left alone with the goalkeeper Târnovanu. His short shot was rejected, and the game continued at an intense pace.
The hosts responded quickly, in the 5th minute, after a corner. The ball arrived at Adrian Şut, but his head hit passed over the gate. Shortly after, Istvan Kovacs initially granted a penalty for FCSB, after a contact between Bîrligea and Romanchuk, but returned correctly to the decision, finding that the ball had first been hit by the Oltenian player.
In the 10th minute, Craiova missed a huge chance to open the score. Nsimba focused on the box for Samuel Portes, but the Portuguese shot passed very close to the right bar.
Cicâldău also had a remarkable opportunity, but his head hit in the 28th minute passed over the gate, keeping the table unchanged. In the 35th minute, Alexandru Stoian was made in the opposing corner, but Kovacs did not notice the initial phase. The referee was called to the Var monitor, where it was confirmed that it was a penalty, indicating the point with lime. Florin Tanase kept his calm and transformed the blow, bringing FCSB to the advantage, 1-0.
Cicâldău, eliminated for cumulative cards
In the extension minutes of the first half, Alex Cicâldău received a yellow card for a foul on Tanase. Subsequently, 12 minutes after the resumption, the midfielder of Craiova again committed a yellow foul and was eliminated.
In the last 15 minutes, David Miculescu was the protagonist of a tense phase, when his shot hit an opponent, and Kovacs again granted a penalty. This time, Tanase was guessed by Isnko, and the goalkeeper Craiova defended the blow from 11 meters.
The match ended 1-0 for FCSB, a result by which the red-blue reaches 13 points, approaches 5 points to the play-off area and remain 11 points ago.
