“Fiction” awards 2024. Tudor Giurgiu and Adrian Majuru, among this year's winners

During the “Fiction” Awards Gala that took place on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 7 p.m., “Fiction” Magazine and the Fiction Creators Association (ACF) announced the winners of the 2023 awards.

The “Fiction” awards were given in 6 categories

It is the third year that the “Fiction” awards are given, and in previous editions, among the nominees for these awards were personalities of Romanian cultural life, from different generations, who stood out in the field of fiction creation.

We remind you that ACF promotes hybrid forms of art, considering that the languages ​​of creators from various fields are in harmony. As a result, the “Fiction” Awards aim to reward valuable artists from various fields, some of whom can also be found in the pages of the magazine.

  • Father Moșu from the novel “The Thief in the Court of Miracles” by Adrian Majuru, Litera, BPC, 2023, collection. Character who brings together historical, literary and sensational information in a novel-document.

The prize for the best ending

  • “Diavolul din Freisetzburg” by Roxana Ruscior, Litera, BPC, 2023. An ending with a moral stake, well written, which spectacularly changes the direction of events.

Visual Narrative Award

  • “Man-story”: Bogdan Simion (Cobzarul). The most epic presence in the Romanian cultural space, Cobzarul created not only a brand, but also an endless story, about music, literature and desire.
