The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued, on Saturday, a Yellow Code flood warning, which covers rivers within 12 counties until Sunday morning.

According to hydrologists, between June 8, 12:00 p.m. and June 9, 9:00 a.m., there may be significant runoff on slopes, torrents and streams, rapid floods on small rivers with possible local flooding effects and increases in flows and levels on the rivers in the hydrographic basins: Ialomiţa – upstream basin of SH Târgovişte (counties: Dâmboviţa and Prahova), Prahova – upper basin, Teleajen – upper basin (Prahova county), Buzău – tributaries related to the downstream sector of SH Nehoiu (counties: Buzău, Prahova and Brăila ), Râmnicu Sarat – upper basin and middle and lower basin tributaries (counties: Buzău and Vrancea), Putna – upper basin and middle and lower basin tributaries (Vrancea county), Trotuş – tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Târgu Ocna (counties: Bacău, Neamţ, Covasna and Vrancea), Bistrita – tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Straja (counties: Neamţ and Bacău), Moldova – tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Gura Humorului (counties: Suceava and Neamţ), Bârlad – upstream basin SH Negresti and tributaries related to the sector downstream SH Negrești (counties: Neamţ, Vaslui, Iaşi, Galati, Bacău and Vrancea), Siret – small tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Nicolae Bălcescu (counties: Neamţ, Bacău, Vrancea and Galati), Prut – tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Drânceni ( counties: Vaslui and Galati), writes Agerpres.
Dangerous hydrological phenomena can occur with greater probability and intensity on some small rivers in the counties: Neamţ, Bacău, Vaslui and Vrancea, warns the cited source.
