Florinel Coman brought FCSB closer to the title

FCSB defeated CFR Cluj with a score of 1-0 (1-0), on Sunday evening, away, in a game from the fourth stage of the play-off phase of the Superliga football.

FCSB took another step towards the title, thanks to the goal scored by Florinel Coman (16), from a free kick from 20 meters. FCSB played very well in the first half hour and had another great opportunity, through Adrian Şut (12), who shot from outside the box, but the goalkeeper Răzvan Sava rejected the ball in the crossbar.

The hosts' biggest chance was missed by Daniel Bîrligea (73), who shot weakly from 6 meters, goalkeeper Ştefan Târnovanu rejected, and the striker from Cluj sent it wide.

The leader had another good opportunity, through Darius Olaru (75), but his shot was rejected by goalkeeper Sava.

In the end (90+9), Mauritanian defender Aly Abeid received a red card for hitting Octavian Popescu in a phase that produced a brawl on the edge of the field.

CFR Cluj lost the second consecutive match at home in the play-off.

FCSB won all four play-off games.

In the direct matches of the regular season, FCSB prevailed 1-0 at home, and the match in Cluj-Napoca ended in a draw, 1-1.
