The government will approve the continuation of the program for people in disadvantaged situations by granting a new installment of 250 lei for food products and hot meals, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu informed on Thursday.

Marcel Ciolacu said on Thursday that the Ministry of European Investments and Projects receives an additional 650 million lei to support disadvantaged people.

“We continue an important program with a major social impact for people in disadvantaged situations, pensioners with incomes below 2,000 lei per month and people with disabilities. We give them a new installment of 250 leand for food products and hot meals. More than 2.5 million people will collect the money in August, so the Ministry of Investments and European Projects receives almost 650 million lei in addition”. stated Ciolacu, at the beginning of the Government meeting.
