It is about the Botoșani Regional Livestock, Agricultural Equipment and Traditional Products Fair, a traditional festival, dedicated to animal breeders, but also to agricultural and livestock producers.
This event was organized between May 11-12 and brought together farmers and producers from all over Moldova. The festival is in its 16th edition, being organized annually at the Sheep and Goat Research Station in Răchiți commune.
“No political propaganda”
This year, the organizers of the fair have decided that the event will be totally apolitical and dedicated exclusively to farmers and producers. Given that it is an election campaign, and especially that political formations would have taken advantage of the huge influx of people at the fair, a strict regulation has been drawn up regarding political propaganda.
The regulation was also elaborated by the director of the Research Station, Ionică Nechifor, who is a party member, but who wanted a strictly agricultural event, without political interference.
“Participants are required not to display, offer or transmit to other event participants any defamatory, inappropriate, abusive, obscene, offensive material or articles, badges, scarves, with political connotations. It is prohibited political propaganda and/or political groups, which lead to instability, respectively agitation among visitors, participants”. specify the organizers.
The decision also came after every edition of the election years, the fair was monopolized by politicians.
