Susan Edwards, a UK tourist, left last month on a seven-night all-inclusive holiday at Lido Corfu Sun hotel on the Greek island with his family, but claims that the trip was “Terrible from the first moment” In which he arrived, writes the Daily Mail.

Food, the main reason for dissatisfaction
The first morning had a choice between “Fried bread, a boiled egg or something in a sauce. It was not a bacon.” The next day, breakfast consisted of “Mizzarella and sliced tomatoes. There was no bacon or hot sausages.”
Fortunately, “One day I received fried potatoes”but only “One time in all stay”she said. “One evening it was a Greek evening and they had kebaburi, but I couldn’t eat something like that. It’s the worst vacation in my life.”
At all-inclusive, wine, beer, ouzo, brandy, but also soft drinks were offered. The bottled water costs 1.50 euros, according to Edwards, who has traveled with his summer, 77 and 78, her 30 -year -old daughter and a two -year -old cousin.
But the pensioner did not drink Ouzo nor brandy – so he claims he could not enjoy any drinks throughout vacation. She explained that she usually drinks bottled beer or a cola, but that would have cost 9 euros.
“After paying 750 pounds for the holiday, 70 euros for a tourist fee for me and my daughter and another 450 pounds for our tables, I could go in the Caribbean”said the tourist, angry.
The hotel deny the accusations
The hotel to which she was accommodated transmitted that the statements of the British tourist are “Inaccurate, exaggerated and in many cases completely false.”
“Our buffet is rich and varied every day, offering fresh salads, fruits, vegetables, cold and hot preparations that satisfy a variety of European and Mediterranean tastes. The idea that we would have served ‘only rice and sardines’ is simply false.”
The four -star hotel is promoted with “Panoramic views on the Ionic Sea, arranged on several levels and decorated with stone, wood and warm colors.”
However, the tourist said he couldn’t enjoy the withdrawn bay because “The slope was so steep that I could not go down there and it was 150 meters from the hotel.”
Sorted vacation to failure
The holiday was doomed to failure from the beginning for Edwards and her family, who arrived around 2:00 pm, eager for food and refreshment after a long trip. After climbing a big ramp to reach the reception, Susan said he was told that the food at the pool would be served only at 5:00 pm for guests – and what they offered was, according to her, “A square of baclava of one centimeter.”
The staff was not careful either, she said: “It’s a ramp near the hotel where you have to pull your suitcase up when you arrive. My daughter has climbed and descended several times, pulling everyone’s valves.”
On the other hand, hotel representatives claimed that “From the first day of arrival, it was obvious that the guests were looking for pretexts.”
“We organize three evening events a week, including a Greek evening, all unfolded near the pool and canceled only in severe weather. The beach is about 300 meters, and access is clearly described on our site and partner agencies. There are no hidden or misleading difficulties in reaching it.”they defended themselves.
