The well-known sociologist Gelu Duminică criticizes the lack of transparency of state institutions, after the CCR’s decision to cancel the presidential elections.

“It’s been 2 weeks. No one came forward to tell us what happened that required a CCR decision. And not what the state institutions guarded. No one was fired and no honorable resignation was offered. The president is silent, the prime minister is stalking. A total lack of transparency on the part of state institutions that is accused by society of trampling on their vote. And they, and the rest, deserve and need certainties. And clear evidence that there were extremely serious reasons for that decision.” writes the sociologist Gelu Duminică, on Facebook.
According to the specialist, transparency is needed to rebuild credibility and prove that “the state works”.
