George Simion and Diana Sosoacă blame each other for blocking negotiations on the formation of a sovereignist coalition

George Simion accuses Diana Sosoacă that because of her, the talks for the formation of a coalition have been blocked. For his part, the leader of SOS Romania reproaches the AUR president for refusing to participate in any meeting to unite the sovereignists.

“Ms. Sosoacă, and you started attacking me nonsense, with quorums that don’t exist and so on. We had a meeting to form a coalition and the place where any discussion was interrupted is the fact that you don’t want to support Călin Georgescu as a candidate of the sovereignists in the presidential elections”George Simion said on TikTok.

The president of SOS Romania claims that the blame for blocking the negotiations regarding the formation of a sovereignist coalition rests with the AUR leader.

“You have refused to participate in any meeting of the union of sovereignists. I have been trying for two years to unite you, always you, Mr. George Simion, played against. First of all, there was no discussion about the presidential elections, not even about Călin Georgescu. Why? Because the courts are yet to rule on the elections.”, said Diana Sosoacă, on Thursday, in a post on Facebook, in response to Simion’s claims.

The SOS leader accused George Simion of wanting to take advantage of Georgescu’s wave of popularity:

“Mr. Simion, everyone knows that you never got along with Mr. Călin Georgescu, but it’s good to use his wave, right? For you to grow, and then when he is banned, you to run on big horses, coming and saying that you supported Mr. Călin Georgescu”.
