The first vice-president of the PNL, Gheorghe Flutur, declared, on Saturday, at the Regional Conference in Iaşi of the PNL branches in Moldova, that the liberals were wrong when they gave the Ministry of Transport to the social democrats, as the PSD takes credit for the construction of highways in Moldova.

“We made a mistake when we gave the Ministry of Transport to the PSD. Today is photo shooting on A7. Everyone puts their head in the picture and we, with our ministers who initiated the A7 highway, are just assisting. I saw that only those who are ashamed of Moldova, from Buzău, are the authors of this great creation, the Moldovian Highway, and it is not true. We will have to fight to cross the Carpathians with the A8 Unirii Highway, otherwise it will be difficult”, said Gheorghe Flutur, according to news.ro.
According to Flutur, the north-east region accounts for two thirds of the national GDP, “so the degree of poverty is still high, one of the causes being the isolation generated by the lack of highways”.
“To this is added the departure abroad of the young and qualified workforce, but also the differentiated, discretionary treatment applied by Bucharest to the Moldova region. We can also talk about our lack of unity, assuming that we were also wrong”, continued Gheorghe Flutur.
He said that in Suceava he lost the head of the County Council, because of the “PSD-AUR top”.
“Unfortunately, Flutur also pays for PSD-AUR’s premiership in Suceava, because that’s how they were able to win. In terms of number of votes, you are in third place in Romania, but you are not enough. We are regrouping, we have an army of 50 mayors in the area of Suceva and we will win”Flutur declared.
