Gheorghe Hagi (61 years old) is getting closer to becoming Romania’s new coach, after the departure of Mircea Lucescu (80 years old), and the details of the contract are already outlined at the level of the Romanian Football Federation. For now, the appointment is pending.
There are still a few steps to go. First, his name will be subject to the approval of the Technical Commission of the FRF. A formality that the federation does not want to go over and that will be fulfilled tomorrow.
“Everyone is talking that he (no – Gică Hagi) would be next. I spoke with the people from the Technical Commission. On Friday there will be a meeting in which this very thing will be discussed, what options there would be, to get an answer from there, which will go to the president (no – Răzvan Burleanu).
