According to the Dutch detective, there is a 50% risk that the thieves who stole the helmet from Coţofeneşti and the three Dacian bracelets have melted the treasures for the precious metal, notes NL Times, which cites ANP.

“There is a chance that they will no longer exist”

Arthur Brand said in the television show Eve that the Dutch police arrested three “very fast” suspects, so there are chances that the thieves would not have had time to melt, but it was suspicious and because of their refusal to refuse to tell the police where the artifacts are

“The suspects say nothing. You would expect them to start talking now, so there is a chance that they will no longer exist ”, said Brand.

The Dutch detective confessed that he received “a few tips” about theft. Arthur Brand did not detail the nature of the information, just saying that among those who harassed them would be jokes.

“The pressure is now incredibly high”

If stolen treasures have not yet been melted, the police should find them quickly enough, he said.

“The pressure is now incredibly high”, added the detective.

We recall that, according to the Holland press, two of the three suspects arrested in the case of the stealing of the Getic and Dacian treasure at the Duits Museum, have a rich criminal past.

At least one of them seems particularly dangerous with serious history, with robberies and threats.

In order to find treasure objects, extreme methods were used for deontology in this country.

Specifically, the suspects were put in front of a drastic choice: or say where the stolen objects are, or their names and photos will be advertised. They refused, and their image and name were made public.

Experts in the criminal and private life say, according to Algemeen Dagblad, that it is a truly exceptional measure. “A stolen helmet justifies such a measure? I think about it and I will talk to the case prosecutor ”declares the specialists for the mentioned publication.

We recall that the robbery took place on January 25 at the Drents Museum in Assen, the Netherlands. The helmet from Cotofesti and three Dacian bracelets that are part of the Dacia exhibition – rich in gold and silver were stolen.
