Thanks to yesterday’s success, “Simo” accumulated 26 points in the world ranking and jumped 251 places (!) to 879 WTA in the live ranking, updated in real time.
Today, Halep will return to the court for the match with the Russian Anna Blinkova (26 years old, 78 WTA), a rather modest opponent, as Adevărul demonstrated here, presenting her record in 2024. The two athletes will be face to face , for the first time. According to the organizers, the Halep – Blinkova duel will start no earlier than 12:00, Romanian time.
