Handball players from CSM Bucharest beat Krim Ljubljana, 31-29, in group A of the Champions League

On Saturday, the champion CSM Bucharest defeated the Krim Ljubljana team 31-29 away, in the 5th stage of group A of the Champions League.

The main scorers of the game were Omoregie – 8 goals, Arntzen – 6 and Cristina Neagu – 5 for CSM, respectively Gros – 10, Radicevic – 6 and Brnovic – 5 for Krim, writes news.ro.

In the first stages, CSM obtained the results: 26-30 with Gloria Bistriţa, 32-28 with Storhamar Handball Elite, 29-28 with Podravka Koprivnica and 27-2 with Nykobing Falster Handboldclub.

After five stages, CSM is in 4th place, with 8 points. The leader is Metz, with 9 points.

In the VI stage, the Bucharest team will play at home, on October 20, against Metz Handball.

The first two placed in the two groups qualify directly for the quarterfinals, and the teams in the 3rd-6th places will play in the play-off, for the other four places available in the quarterfinals, during which they will fight for the Final Four Tournament in Budapest ( 31 May – 1 June).

The holder of the trophy is the Hungarian band Gyor ETO, who won the sixth trophy in 2024.
