HBO Max brings, right from the beginning of April, 27 new movies, seasons and productions to the platform. To which, of course, is added all the content already available on the platform, which can be watched at any time of the day or night. On May 21, HBO Max will become Max, and every subscriber will have twice as much content to watch, as well as live sports!

In April, HBO Max brings four interesting documentaries covering various topics. “The Synanon Fix” will be on HBO Max on April 2. The documentary explores the rise and fall of the Synanon organization through the eyes of the members who lived it, from its beginnings as a revolutionary drug rehabilitation program to its subsequent decay into what many consider to be a cult.

Starting today, we will learn about “Quiet on set – The Dark Side of Kids TV” on HBO Max. A documentary that is already going around the world and captivates with the untold story of the toxic world behind the most famous children's TV shows of the 1990s and 2000s. The documentary has 5 episodes and the first 2 are already available on HBO Max. The list of documentaries coming to HBO Max in April continues with “Brandy Hellville: The Cult of Fast Fashion”, “An American Bombing: The Road to April” and “The Jinx Part 2”.

In April, HBO Max prepared a list of unmissable films, and here are just a few: “The Color Purple”, “Mamma Mia! Let's do it all over again” (“Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again”), “Mamma Mia!”, “Defecte” (“Shortcomings”), “When Harry Met Sally” (“When Harry Met Sally” ), “Oblivion. Forgotten planet” (“Oblivion”), “Goldman Case” (“The Goldman Case”).

On April 12, HBO Max invites you to discover the extraordinary friendship between three women with an unbreakable bond in “The Color Purple.” This new take on the classic film is directed by Blitz Bazawule and produced by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Scott Sanders and Quincy Jones. The film was released in 2023 in cinemas, won 27 awards and had more than 100 nominations.

10 years after the premiere of the movie “Mamma Mia!” you are invited back to the Greek island of Kalokairi in this sequel based on the songs of ABBA. Sophie is pregnant and has to take some risks. The actors from the first film return, along with some newcomers such as Lily James and Andy Garcia. “Mamma Mia! Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will be on HBO Max on April 26.

On April 15, HBO Max introduces you to “The Sympathizer”. The series follows a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy in the final days of the Vietnam War and his subsequent exile in the US
