On March 24, our publication organizes the Healthcare Forum. The truth about the health of Romanians. The debate brings together, in an open dialogue, from 10:00, high-ranking officials such as Minister Alexandru Rogobete, managers of large medical units – including Dr. Adrian Marinescu and Dr. Alexandru Ulici -, renowned doctors and patient representatives. In an effort to find concrete solutions, the forum will address four critical pillars: from eliminating treatment gaps between urban and rural, to the role of digital innovation and the vital importance of prevention in family medicine.
The main topics discussed at the event
During the event, four main themes will be addressed:
- Panel 1. Patient access to hospitals and treatments and gaps in the system – In which topics such as the gaps between large and small urban areas, solutions for equitable access to the health system, the status of regional hospitals, as well as access to medicines and the role of distributors and local manufacturers of medicines will be discussed.
- Panel 2. Public, private and foreign – It will bring into focus the aspects that we can learn from other health systems in the European Union, the importance of support, the role of private investments, but also the state-private collaboration and the situation of doctors working in both systems.
- Panel 3. Innovation in health – Digitalization, telemedicine, the use of artificial intelligence in diagnosis and prevention will be discussed.
- Panel 4. Prevention – The role of family medicine in this sense will be addressed, but also how the crisis of doctors affects both prevention and diagnosis; issues facing residents will also be debated.

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, will join the event online. In the hall, at the opening, Stela Firu, secretary of state in the Ministry of Health, will also be present.
