Another reason for joy that the eccentric millionaire in euros shared with journalists from Click! it is the fact that he finally managed to complete the event hall at Corbeanca, another business that is doing well for him and that brings him good money, as he declares.
Total investment of 390,000 euros
Cristian Șântăreanu is very satisfied with the three apartments he bought, together with his son, in the luxury resort of Mamaia, because he doesn’t like staying in hotels, and says that he paid 130,000 euros for each of them, money that he paid in installments.
“In the summer we go to the sea once a week. We have three apartments there, in Mamaia Nord, but I don’t go to the discotheques in the area. We come when we want, we leave when we want. I don’t have money for a hotel, I’m a pensioner, where does the money come from?”, joked the billionaire, continuing: “I’m sitting in my house, in my things. My son and I purchased 3 apartments, with two rooms, with living room, kitchen and bedroom, we also have parking.
The builders did a good job, I like the work. I paid 130,000 euros for each apartment, I took them in installments. We arranged them, we furnished them, we go there with the family, it is strictly for us. The misfortune is that my wife and I have free time only during the week, otherwise the children come with grandchildren, with friends“.
Asked if he is not thinking of renting out one or even all of his apartments to tourists, as is done, for example, by the artist Mihai Trăistariu, who owns, also in Mamaia Nord, 6 studios from which he earns approximately 30,000 euros each season, the eccentric Cristian Șănțreanu declared that he doesn’t even think about it, because he doesn’t want his life’s work to be destroyed by some “aurolac”.
“God forbid, I don’t put anyone in these three apartments, I don’t rent them out, although they are also working tourists! I don’t want my work to be destroyed by some aurolac, you don’t know who enters your house, you still choose with damage”, he said.
