Students in pre-university education will enjoy, on Saturday, October 25, until Sunday, November 2, the first vacation of the 2025-2026 school year. Parents who either have not allowed, for various reasons, a summer vacation, or want to repeat the experience, have begun to analyze the offers of travel agencies.
In the top of the preferences for destinations in the country are the mountain resorts Sinaia, Predeal, Poiana Brașov, while for the most sought-after spa tourism remain Băile Felix, Călimănești-Căciulata and Băile Herculane, according to Bibi Tourperator.
What hotels do to maintain attractive offers
The offers for the period October 25-November 2 betray the hotel attempts to adapt to what the Romanians allow. Thus, hotels that have previously launched packages with accommodation and tables included, now rely on accommodation and at most breakfast, to manage to propose to tourists good prices, offering on request and table services in their own restaurants or providing a small kitchen so that tourists prefer to prepare something quickly. Other units halved the period, from four nights offering packages and two nights. More hotels than in previous years have SPA services, more and more requested by customers. Accommodation prices are comparable to last year.
With breakfast or no meal services, but with access to jacuzzi, spa, fitness room
For a stay of two or three nights, most offers having breakfast included, the prices start, for two people, from about 600 lei and can reach almost 1,600 lei, depending on the resort and the hotel.
