Marian Godină has been working for over 17 years within the Romanian Police, and currently works at SAS (Service for Special Actions), a structure that involves missions with a high degree of risk and responsibility.
In addition to the basic salary and the one corresponding to the rank, increased following the indexation of the last years, Marian Godină benefits from substantial increases for risk and demand, specific to special forces. The police officer also receives additional income for night and weekend work.
Having been in the system for over 17 years, Marian Godină also receives the maximum grade. Thus, from the basic salary and bonuses, his monthly income reached approximately 5,300 – 5,800 lei. To this amount are added the norms, which vary between 1,500 and 1,700 lei, according to cancan.ro.
In 2026, the food norm is approximately 40 lei per day, which means approximately 1,200 – 1,300 lei per month. Next comes the equipment norm, which is 300-400 lei. Thus, Marian Godină receives a remuneration of approximately 7,000 lei per month from the Romanian Police.

To participate in this year’s edition of the Survivor Romania competition, the policeman went on unpaid leave.
However, the experience comes with financial benefits. According to the information published in the press, Marian Godină would be remunerated by Antena 1 with approximately 2,500 euros for each internship passed in the competition.
