How to correct papers for Bac 2024

In the two sessions of the 2024 baccalaureate exam, the written papers are digitally corrected. Specifically, the students will solve the papers on the exam papers, and at the end, they will be scanned by the teachers in front of the candidates. After scanning, the papers will be uploaded to a platform and randomly sent to the evaluating teachers. They do not know each other, they are from different counties than the one where the exam was held. The works are anonymized.

How to calculate Baccalaureate grades

The final grade of the 2024 Baccalaureate exams is calculated as the arithmetic mean with two decimal places of the grades given by the evaluating teachers, without rounding and only if the difference between the grades given by them is less than or equal to one point.

If the difference between the marks awarded by the two evaluators is greater than 1 point, two other evaluators are nominated to correct the work. After completing the proofreading of the paper, the marks awarded by each of the four evaluators are transferred to the paper. Then, the final grade is calculated from the 4 (four) grades. After removing the two extreme grades/values, the final grade is calculated as the arithmetic mean to two decimal places, without rounding, of the two central grades/values. The resulting average represents the final grade that is recorded according to the provisions of the procedure.

During the appeals resolution stage, after the assessment of the papers is over, the final grade is calculated as follows: in the situation where there is a difference in grading of more than 1.5 points, plus or minus, between the grade from the initial assessment and the one from appeals, the work is reevaluated by two other evaluators. The final grade cannot be changed and represents the grade obtained by the candidate for the respective test.
