A math teacher from Sibiu offers a student from the orphanage the chance to change her future. Mihai Suciu promised to prepare her for the second session of the Baccalaureate, after the girl told him that she needed at least a grade of 6.50 to be able to stay in the center where she lives.
Mihai Suciu has been offering free meditations for almost 20 years to students who need support for the preparation of the Baccalaureate exam. For him, mathematics is not only formulas and exercises, but also the chance to help young people build a future.
A message received from a student impressed Mihai Suciu. The girl told him that she is in a difficult situation and that passing the Baccalaureate is the condition for being able to stay in the center where she lives.
“If you help me take the ferry with 6.50, the people at the orphanage will let me stay there, only on the condition that they take the ferry. And I put all my trust in you that you will help me”the student told him.
Mihai Suciu’s answer came immediately: he promised to be with her until she succeeds.
“That’s my promise. I’ll take care of it, you won’t get rid of me until you take the ferry”he answered.
“Thank you”the student wrote.
Mihai says that the message he received from the young woman moved him. “This message broke me. I will not rest until she succeeds now in August”wrote Mihai Suciu in a message published on Facerbook.
The teacher is confident that the student can achieve the result she needs, mainly because she wants to succeed.
“I promise to come back with her result. I’m confident because she wants it, 70% done”said Mihai Suciu.

The story of the student and the promise made by Mihai Suciu caused a wave of emotion in the online environment.
