“We have people who do their job daily, in uniform or civil, in flight, in the hangar, in command centers or in aviation schools. They work with discipline, seriously and responsibly, in a system that needs consistent investments, modern equipment and a clear framework for development.”said the prime minister.
The modernization of the fleet and the development of the infrastructure are among the priority of the government, pointed out Ilie Bolojan in his speech, after reviewing the importance of aviation for national security, but also in the context of the NATO strategy.
“The modernization of the fleet, the development of the air infrastructure and the preservation of the qualified staff are priorities that we will support in the coming years.
We are part of the North Atlantic Alliance, and this is a guarantee and a responsibility. But Romania is not a simple beneficiary of the Security offered by NATO. Romanian planes patrol in cooperation with allies, participate in international exercises and contribute directly to regional security.
I thank all those who hold this important structure of national defense in operation. With seriousness, discretion and professionalism.
For me it is an honor for this holiday to participate with you at the aviation event of our country.
Happy Birthday to Romanian Aviation and Air Force!
I assure you of my personal respect and the support of the Romanian Government.
May God have Romania!“, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said, on the Day of Romanian Aviation.
