The President of the PNL, Ilie Bolojan, announces that the party he leads will support, regardless of whether it will be in power or in opposition, those projects necessary to access grants from European funds, but also projects related to the “good governance” of the country.
“As I said when we adopted the decisions in the last month, the PNL will support all the things related to the realities we have and good governance. We have the aspects related to the PNRR program and any government that comes must have as a priority the fulfillment of the milestones that were not met because the ministers, for example, did not have the courage to come up with proposals to support and ended up, for example, that the salary law remained on the last hundred meters, because, containing some limitations that are imposed by the realities of Romania, it did not sound good. And then the PSD ministers, for example, who have had this Labor portfolio for four years, from 2021 until now, did not come up with this project, they left it for the last hundred meters and surely Mr. Pîslaru took a project that he exposed in the public space that I, personally, as limits, as tires I supported without going into any details related to classes and so on”said Ilie Bolojan to Euronews Romania, Thursday evening, News writes.
Among the projects that the PNL will support are, according to the president of the formation, the laws that represent milestones in the PNRR and which, if they are not fulfilled, cause Romania to lose money.
“All other projects related to efficiency in governanceof creating conditions for an economic relaunch, we have a package that we have not had time to put into practice, it must be put into practice this month, according to the ordinance that was given in the past months, it will also have to be put into practice, in such a way as to create conditions for economic relaunch. We have basically closed the SAFE program for the most part. It should still be closed. There are still a few projects that need to be completed in such a way that we can equip the Romanian Army with military equipment that can defend us from drones, that can ensure our greater safety and respect our commitments vis-à-vis the eastern flank. There are several aspects that the PNL will support. We will have a responsible attitude, that we will be in a form of government or in the opposition, as we have had so far”assured Ilie Bolojan.
