Couples who face infertility problems and want to become parents could benefit from a voucher of maximum 15,000 lei for specific drugs and medical procedures on the territory of Romania.

The Ministry of Labor, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity has put into public debate the order regarding the approval of the methodological norms for applying the social program of national interest of couples and single persons, for increasing birth (in vitro – IVF), writes Agerpres.
According to the document, the financial support will be granted for a maximum number of 10,000 beneficiaries, and the files are submitted until November 30, 2025.
In order to be able to benefit from this help, at least one of the partners, members of the infertile couple, married or unmarried, or the single infertile woman must be a Romanian citizen and have their domicile in Romania.
Also, the two members of the infertile couple or the single infertile woman must have the quality of insured/insured in the social health insurance system in Romania. The age of the demanding woman must be between 20 and 45 years.

I want this program to continue, because it is a necessary program, as long as infertility remains a real problem in our country“Said Simona Oprescu, the Minister of Labor, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity.
The support is granted in the form of two vouchers, in the amount of 15,000 lei. Thus, a voucher worth 5,000 lei will be intended for the purchase of specific drugs, and the second voucher, in the amount of 10,000 lei, will be used to pay the prescribed medical procedures. The vouchers will be granted in the chronological order of the submission of complete and declared eligible files.
All documents will be submitted in electronic format, through a digital platform dedicated to this program.
