The young woman returned to the country for a short time to see her father, the former millionaire Irinel Columbeanu, who lost his fortune and lives in an asylum.
He says that he has easily integrated into the American school environment and wants to become a neurosurgeon, but that he plans to study in Europe, specifically in Switzerland. “I want to go to a medical school, probably in Switzerland. And yes, I am very passionate about this subject and I really like science, not so much math, but I try. I speak three foreign languages, English, Romanian and French”explained Irina Columbeanu, who wants to become a neurosurgeon, writes libertatea.ro.
She also said that she works in America at an Italian restaurant.
“We’ve kept in touch through Facetime and texting, we’re very close. Yes, I’m a hostess at an Italian restaurant, I sort of give menus, I do things like that and I also make some money and send it to my father and I like to work”. said the daughter of Irinel Columbeanu and Monica Gabor.
In the same interview for the online show “Daughter with Adiță”, Irina Columbeanu made the first statements upon returning to the country, she also had a message for her father.
“I really missed my father and this beautiful country! I am very happy and very grateful to be here again after 6 years. Yes, this is the perfect time! In these six years I really changed a lot! It was a very good and positive change,” she said. At the same time, the teenager also had a message for her father, who, moved, stood by her side. “I am grateful that I was able to have the opportunity to move to America, but I am also very grateful that I was able to return to Romania and see my father and my country. I wouldn’t be where I am now without my dad who has sacrificed so much for me and I am extremely grateful and thank you! I know what you went through for me and our family! He is generous, he is very funny and very wise”said Irina Columbeanu.
Irina Columbeanu traveled to Cluj, but also visited her relatives in Bacău.
